In France, there are three kinds of professionals who can help with a sexual problem:
Psychologists sex therapists
Some sex therapists are also psychologists. They treat sexual problems that have a psychological etiology, which represents 90% of sexual problems.
Sexologists who are medical doctors
Some sexologists are medical doctors. They perform medical examinations and tests and prescribe medications.
Other sex therapists
Some sex therapists do not have any degree in psychology or medecine.
